Happy staff are likely to be more efficient

Using business software may help your staff and therefore keep them happy at work

As an employer, have you ever found yourself struggling to retain staff or keep your workers happy?

Here’s a thought - It may be because they’re stuck with repetitive tasks, allowing little or no personal creativity!

In many cases, the right accounting software may take the pain out of some tedious business processes in the workplace, which can contribute to keeping your staff happy as well as having a positive impact on your company's bottom line.

Creating a positive, happy work environment may often come second to driving sales and increasing profit, but this could put the productivity of your workforce at risk.

According to federal minister for employment and workplace relations Bill Shorten, a happy staff member is a valuable business asset.

"What I do know is that the happier your workers, the better your business is performing," he told The World Today on April 5.

"What makes a good job is the sense that you are valued at work, a sense that there is safety of work in terms of the work practises, a sense that innovation is rewarded, that there is not waste," he added.

In addition, the World Happiness Report recently published by a team of researchers in the United States also identified comfort in the work environment as being a main contributor to personal happiness.
