Sybiz is changing the way Australians do business with its new and improved payroll software, Sybiz Visipay. The Sybiz team of developers exerted their energy with this new version on developments that could save users extra time when dealing with their payroll
One of the most popular improvements to Sybiz Visipay is the ability to ‘save’ a pay in progress. Grant Argy, Development Director for Sybiz says, 'The ability to prepare employee pays before processing is an excellent feature not commonly found in most payroll packages. For example, sometimes there could be information missing from an individual’s pay run, and instead of skipping the pay, with the loss of work already entered, you can now save a pay in progress, and come back to it when the outstanding information is available. In the meantime, the payroll user can continue with the remainder of the pay run, saving time and irritation.'
Users can also determine the pay status of employees at a glance, enabling them to see which payments need to be made and which have already been completed. A multi-user functionality has also been added to Sybiz Visipay, allowing a number of staff to access the payroll simultaneously. Individual payroll users can also be assigned to look after specific payroll groups allowing for greater control.
Sybiz Visipay now also provides a greater amount of information to other employees within the business. A new function is available which allows certain staff members to access information within the payroll system, whilst protecting the more important data. This means the payroll user spends less time servicing staff with relatively simple information requests and more time on the important payroll tasks at hand.
Argy confirms, 'With the new Sybiz Visipay, you can allocate restricted access, so for example you could allow an employee to only view certain reports, whilst keeping other personnel information within the software private.'
The integration of Sybiz Visipay with Human Resource Management means that a database of employee information such as qualifications, medical conditions, emergency contact details and salary can be centralised.
