Single Touch Payroll is making your employees count!

Single Touch Payroll is making your employees count! We hope with the holiday weekend you didn’t forget to check your Single Touch Payroll checklist; 1 April was the date for the employee headcount. The number of staff you employed on this date will determine whether you must begin Single Touch Payroll reporting from 2018 or from 2019.

Businesses with 19 or fewer employees will not be required to report through Single Touch Payroll until 1 July 2019. However, if you numbered 20 or more employees, your business must begin STP reporting from 1 July 2018.

If you have 20 or more employees and have not begun preparing for Single Touch Payroll, the pressure is now on to get your business ready as soon as possible.

Sybiz has already held an introduction to STP webinar, available on our webinar page, and a follow up webinar in May will detail how Sybiz Visipay will help you submit your STP compliance reports.

You can find more information about this upcoming webinar session on our STP information page. We also recommend you download our STP checklist and place it in a prominent position to be remind yourself of important dates coming up.
