Sybiz is pleased to announce the successful roll out of Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 (STP2) with submissions being accepted by the ATO since 1 July 2022 from a small number of Sybiz Visipay customers.
With the exception of the early adopters, Sybiz Visipay customers are subject to an ATO issued deferral with Sybiz Visipay (22.20 and above) set to automatically commence STP2 reporting from 1 November 2022.
Although the actual process of sending submissions remains unchanged for users, some significant preparation work was required to get ready for STP2. Guided by our STP2 webinar series, online resources and Authorised Business Partners, our customers were well supported for a seamless move to the new reporting standards.
The 100% success rate of STP2 submissions thus far through Sybiz Visipay will give our remaining customers added confidence in November, when STP2 reporting is switched on automatically for them.
