TPAR expands to new industries from 2019
The Taxable Payments Annual Report (also known as TPAR, Taxable Payments Reporting Scheme, or TPRS) has been a standard for the building and construction industry, and recently expanded as a requirement for cleaning and courier service businesses.

Businesses in these industries will all be required to report to the ATO payments made to contractors, via TPAR, by 28 August 2019.

Of course, with clients across a wide range of industries and a strong focus on helping Australian businesses manage their obligations, our ERP solution is TPAR enabled.

Due to a change in the accepted file format for TPAR, Sybiz Vision Classic users must upgrade to the latest version of Sybiz Vision.

As the scheme expands to road freight, security, investigation, surveillance and information technology industries from 1 July 2019, Sybiz Vision users in these industries will find they are ready to start reporting with TPAR, providing they are on the latest version.

Businesses in these industries that make payments to contractors will need to lodge their first TPAR by 28 August 2020 for payments made from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020.

Sybiz will be hosting a free EOFY webinar covering information about TPAR reporting. Whether you’re a Sybiz Vision user or not, you can sign up for the live webinar or to receive a recorded version.

You can also use the ATO's assessment guidelines to see if you're required to report TPAR.
