Along with
other changes that have recently been implemented by the Australian Tax Office, the format for Tax File Number declarations is set to change from 30 September 2017.
Sybiz Visipay will be compatible with the new TFN declaration format as of the release of version 17.00, which is scheduled for November 2017.
The ATO will still accept TFN declarations in their current format unless the payee is a Working Holiday Maker. Declarations for these employees must be submitted in the updated format.
If you have to submit TFN declarations for Working Holiday Makers prior to installing version 17.00 then you will be required to manually complete TFN declarations for those employees from 30 September.
