Single Touch Payroll

The biggest shakeup to payroll reporting is here

Single Touch Payroll (STP) phase 1 has been in place since 2018 and phase 2 is coming in 2022. All Australian employers must regularly submit payroll information through STP unless an exemption or deferral has been granted. Sybiz has been granted a deferral until 1 November 2022, this automatically extends to our customers using Sybiz Visipay for STP.

Whichever stage of the STP journey you’re on, you’ll find information and answers from Sybiz.

Our last STP2 webinar was held on 14 October 2022 and gave our customers a refresher before the 1 November start date. You can watch all past STP2 webinars on the link below.

To meet the requirements of Single Touch Payroll you will need to Sign up for the Sybiz Employer Portal and upgrade to the latest version of Sybiz Visipay.

  • How will STP2 change your employee onboarding process?
  • What penalties can occur from not meeting Single Touch Payroll phase 2 compliance?
  • Is your payroll data STP2 ready?
  • Are your employees aware of the impact, such as no more payment summaries?
