Time is running out to prepare for SuperStream!
SuperStream is the ATO's new standard for making superannuation contributions. SuperStream requires all businesses to make their super contributions electronically, saving significant time and effort for employers, super funds and the ATO.
Businesses with 20 or more employees were required to be compliant by 31 October 2015, however those with 19 or fewer employees still have until 30 June 2016 to organise how they will make SuperStream-compliant contributions.
If you haven't started using a SuperStream solution, doing so as soon as possible will mean you can make several payments and ensure they are processed properly before the 30 June deadline. It may also take some time to collect all the necessary employee information, if not collected already, and familiarise yourself with making SuperStream contributions, so don't delay!
