Following an approval by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), Sybiz Vision has been recognised as a compatible solution for
Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTDfV).
Making Tax Digital (MTD) is a broad scheme of UK government regulations aimed at digitising the tax process. MTDfV is the latest development, requiring almost every VAT registered business to store and report their VAT information digitally.
Sybiz Vision had already met the majority of MTDfV requirements for storing VAT information digitally. With the newly added ability to upload VAT reports, and now this final confirmation from HMRC, Sybiz Vision has been officially accredited as an MTDfV compatible solution.
Sybiz Software CFO Ben O’Brien says this represents the best value solution for Sybiz Vision users in the UK.
“We didn’t want our customers relying on third-party integrations that may end up delivering only a short-term or band-aid solution for MTD,” says Mr. O’Brien.

MTDfV is supported in all versions of Sybiz Vision from version 18.12.
